The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA) and Sussex County, NJ, welcome your interest and participation in the development of a Complete Streets Study and Implementation Plan.

Early in spring 2013, NJTPA and Sussex County initiated a study to identify Complete Streets approaches for the County’s roadways and trail crossings in order to better accommodate the travel needs of motorists, pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, seniors, children, and individuals with disabilities. The study includes the potential integration and connectivity of the various mobility systems (streets and trails) within the County, as well as Complete Streets improvement recommendations for seven pilot locations.

As part of this process, the public is invited to assist in the identification of Complete Streets elements and methods that are both sensitive to Sussex County’s rural and suburban landscape, while also enhances the mobility needs of all residents and visitors.
